Cootehill Livestock Mart has been in operation since March 2021 during the Coronavirus pandemic. It had been operating as a mart up until December 2020 but subsequently closed.
Cootehill mart originally opened in 1964 where it had originally operated as a railway station which closed in the 1950’s.
The mart is privately owned and runs three weekly sales as well as a selection of special livestock sales including bi-weekly dairy sales. Cootehill Livestock Mart is now one of only four recognised organic livestock marts in Ireland.

Wednesday: 9:00AM – 6:00PM
Thursday: 3:00PM – 11:00PM
Friday: 3:00PM – 11:00PM
Saturday & Sunday – CLOSED
